Results of the stability limits of monolayer and bilayer water

Combining molecular dynamics simulations and thermodynamics calculations, we show that water can be intercalated into crystalline interfaces (graphite and mica interlayers), which is thermodynamically driven under appropriate pressure and temperature conditions. The data here are the pressure-temperature stability limits of monolayer and bilayer water in the crystalline interfaces.
