16S rRNA amplicon sequencing of colorectal polyps. Homo sapiens

We deployed 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing in this study to characterize the profiles of oral and gut microbiota in patients with colorectal polyps. Twenty patients were enrolled in this study, and oral samples (saliva and subgingival dental plaque) and intestinal samples (feces and swab of intestinal mucosa) were colected during pre-operative and six-month-postoperateve reassessment periods.
