Industrial Sewer Pretreatment Inceptors
The City of Boise, and it's citizens, love the Boise River. It enhances our quality of life, as a resource, a means of recreation, and a part of the culture. Since 1985, Boise City has regulated industrial and commercial wastewater discharges into the public sewer system through it's EPA-approved Industrial Pretreatment Program. The Clean Water Act and the General Pretreatment Regulations (40 CFR Part 402) are the basis of this federal requirement. This is a point data set representing pretreatment interceptors owned and maintained by Industrial Users (IUs) within the bounds of Boise City's (including West Boise Sewer District) sewer collection system. A pretreatment interceptor, or PTI, is a piece of industrial pretreatment equipment that serves to prevent Fats, Oils, and Grease (FOG) generated by commercial kitchens or oils and sediment generated by automobile service facilities from entering the municipal sewer system. PTI's usually consists of a two-chamber concrete vault, with submerged inlets and outlets, and manhole lids covering two access ports. The PTI's only collect industrial wastewater, not domestic (bathroom) wastewater. Data Attributes: FACILITY: Name of the primary facility discharging into the pretreatment device. ADDRESS: Address of the primary facility. DISTRICT: Sewer district in which the facility is located. TYPE: GI = Grease Interceptor, SED = Oil/Sediment Interceptor, FLAM = Flammable Liquids Interceptor STATUS: IB = In Business, OOB = Out of Business, ABD = Abandoned in place, REM = Removed from ground, NI = Not Inspected, TGT = Targeted for Inspection As a resident of the City of Boise, there are also many things you can do to protect the City's sewer system and, ultimately, the Boise River. Check out the Flushables and Residential FOG (Fat Oil Grease) Programs. All attribute data is maintained in the Industrial User Tracking & Planning (IUTP) database, which is administered by the Boise City Public Works Industrial Pretreatment staff. The data set is maintained by Boise City Public Works GIS. The data is updated twice a year into GIS. It is current to the date it was published. 数据属性具体如下:FACILITY(设施名称):排入该预处理设施的主体运营单位全称;ADDRESS(地址):主体运营单位的详细地址;DISTRICT(辖区):设施所属的污水管辖区域;TYPE(设施类型):GI = 油脂拦截器(Grease Interceptor),SED = 油污/沉积物拦截器,FLAM = 易燃液体拦截器;STATUS(设施状态):IB = 正常运营(In Business),OOB = 停业(Out of Business),ABD = 原地废弃(Abandoned in place),REM = 已移除地面(Removed from ground),NI = 未接受检查(Not Inspected),TGT = 列为检查对象(Targeted for Inspection)。
