资源简介:
The present study, "Evaluation of Semen Characteristics and Fertility Parameters of Cloned Bulls and Performance of Clones Progenies - Phase II", aims to comprehensively assess the reproductive performance of cloned bulls through phenotypic evaluation and transcriptomic profiling. In this phase, we expanded our investigation by integrating transcriptomic analyses of semen samples from cloned bulls, their nuclear donors, and progenies to explore molecular differences underlying fertility traits.Cloned bulls were evaluated for standard semen parameters - including volume, concentration, motility, viability, and morphology -alongside conception rates, non-return rates, and other fertility indices. RNA sequencing of spermatozoa from cloned bulls, donors, and their progeny revealed distinct transcriptomic signatures, reflecting potential impacts of somatic cell nuclear transfer (SCNT) on gene expression and epigenetic regulation.
