Fine lithium crystals study during plating

Lithium metal negative electrodes are very promising in term of specific energy but suffer from poorly controlled plating and heterogeneity growth. The mechanisms that subtend this heterogeneity formation, nucleation, evolution, and the critical conditions for which it occurs are still not clear. The aim of this session is to investigate the lithium plating via lithium crystals study in various current density conditions and various electrolyte conditions.
