How do tropical storms affect coastal plankton blooms? A mechanistic investigation of toxigenic Karenia brevis bloom on the West Florida Shelf after Hurricane Ian (2022)
收藏资源简介:
The dataset includes COAWST_RCA model outputs of the four hypothetical scenarios (Exp. 2-Exp. 5) mentioned in the paper, which are all compressed into the ZIP files for saving space. And the results of the hindcast run (Exp. 1) and without hurricane Ian run (Exp. 6) are provided in https://zenodo.org/records/14768459. In the model outputs, the reference time of 'ocean_time' or 'time' is 2022-9-20; all prior data is not included due to spin-up. The biomass of K. brevis is under the variable name "M_C". The nitrate and ammonium concentrations are named as "NO23" and "DNH4", while the PAR intensity in each layer is denoted as "ATTENL". The model output interval is 6 hours, and each netCDF file has one day of data in it. Extracted data for the analysis of the coastal region is stored in the MAT file. 'kb1'-'kb6' refer to the coastal K. brevis concentration extracted from Exp. 1 to Exp. 6.
