The numbers of the table showed the correlation coefficients between predicted and measured values for mixing proportions. For cell line data, we initialized the mixing matrix for Erkkila et al.'s approach with measured CBC fractions added 20 dB noisec. For Shen-Orr et al.'s data, we provided three different kinds of prior knowledge for the initialization of mixing matrix for Erkkila et al.'s approach: random numbers from normal (or Gaussian) distribution as the mixing fractiona, measured fractions with 10 dB noiseb and measured fractions with 20 dB noisec. We aggregated our predictions within three major cell types (neutrophils, lymphocytes and monocytes) to direct compare to the CBC results.
