Danish Gallup Omnibus Data, 1970

Danish Gallup Omnibus Data, 1970 comprises 11 omnibus surveys carried out by the Danish Gallup Institute in 1970. # #Each survey contains a number of demographic variables common to all the surveys of that year, as well as a number of questions dealing with topical events. This data material contains information from all the omnibuses concerning the questions common to them. # #The questions common to all 1970 omnibuses are: degree of urbanization; sex; age; marital status; number of persons in household (children/adults, over/under 15); occupational status of head of household; total income of family; the respondent's occupational status; the respondent's educational status; the respondent's income; position in household of respondent and spouse; occupational status of housewife; social class; type of dwelling; and party preference. # #The special questions deal with such issues as: # #Omnibus no. 01 (DDA-1315): #Danish membership of the EC (provided that Great Britain joins the EC simultaneously); development aid (the 1% target); assessment of the TV opera 'En Nat i Venedig' (One Night in Venice); influenza and vaccination against influenza; inflammation of the throat; colds; public transport; assessment of the TV serial 'Pippi Langstrømpe' (Pippi Longstocking) and the effects of 'Pippi Langstrømpe' on children; dogs in household; TV in household; and attitudes to the proposed Nordic Economic Union. # #Omnibus no. 02 (DDA-1316): #Housing shortage;
