The FinBIF checklist of Finnish species

The Finnish Biodiversity Information Facility (FinBIF) maintains a national checklist of Finnish species, which is publicly available in the portal Species.fi. FinBIF gathers up-to-date information about Finnish species into the checklist, which also functions as a basis for handling observation and specimen data. The checklist is dynamic and changes with updates. A citable checklist is created by periodically publishing a static version, which does not change after the publication.
