Analytical expressions have been obtained for the Fisher information matrix, which determines the potential accuracy of determining the location of stationary radio sources (IRI) using various methods in passive navigation systems. Single-position methods are considered: pseudo triangulation and multipothetic. The method allows simultaneous estimation of the state vector and the vector of unknown parameters of the mathematical model of the system without including them in the state vector of the system. The article shows the fundamental possibility of increasing the accuracy (or efficiency of achieving the required accuracy) of determining the location of the IRI using the multi-hypothesis method.
