Potential antibiotic resistance genes distribution of microbial communities on Changhua coast

In this study, the antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) distribution on Changhua coast was inves-tigated based on microbial communities. Soil collected from the Changhua coast were subjected to DNA extraction, 16S rDNA sequencing, microbial community analysis, and finally, four computational approaches, including BugBase, Functional Annotation of Prokaryotic Taxa (FAPROTAX), the Phylogenetic Investigation of Communities by Reconstruction of Unob-served States (PICRUSt2), and Tax4Fun2 were used to conduct comparative analysis of ARGs.
