Prokaryotic community in rice roots

Bacteria and Archaea play essential roles in the rice rhizosphere. However, the factors controlling the rhizosphere community are less known. This study explored the impact of genetic and phenotypic diversities of rice on the prokaryotic community in the rhizosphere through amplicon sequencing of 16S rRNA genes of rice roots of different varieties under different fertilization.
