Characteristics, indicators and hospital admissions of the SUS hospital network in 2019

The database was developed by pairing two national public databases made available by the Brazilian Ministry of Health, from the information systems: CNES (National Register of Health Establishments) and SIH (Hospital Information System). The database contains information about Brazilian hospitals, including their basic identification, their characteristics, structure of services, professionals and hospital beds, as well as a set of data that characterize their hospital admissions. This research database contains 64 variables about the 4,449 hospitals that provided services to the SUS in 2019.本数据集由巴西卫生部公开的两个国家级公共数据库整合构建，二者分别源自两大卫生信息系统：国家卫生机构登记册（National Register of Health Establishments，CNES）与医院信息系统（Hospital Information System，SIH）。本数据集涵盖巴西医院的相关信息，包括基础标识信息、机构属性、服务架构、从业人员配置与病床资源情况，以及用于表征患者住院收治情况的一系列数据。本研究数据集包含2019年为SUS提供服务的4449家医院的64项变量信息。
