In autumn 2016 multi-country outbreak of Salmonella Enteritidis infections linked to Polish eggs was reported by EFSA and ECDC. The intensive on-farm sampling allowed for identification of number of Salmonella Enteritidis positive flocks on 19 farms. Current study aimed at elucidation of epidemiological links between pathogen found in 43 flocks located in each of the contaminated farms.
