资源简介:

This dataset contains experimental and simulated pressure time series collected in the context of the HFSP project How fishes use historical hydrodynamic motion cues in search and navigation tasks (RGY0059/2022). The experimental data were measured in a Cambridge experimental tank and are provided in TDMS format. The simulated data were generated with the HAACHAMA pipeline and are provided in NPZ format. The dataset was created to support the comparison between experimental measurements and two classes of numerical models:(1) a highly dynamic fish digital twin generated by the HAACHAMA pipeline, and(2) a simpler baseline model consisting of a cylinder positioned at the fish’s center of mass and following the trajectory of the real fish. The dataset includes results obtained with four versions of the simulation pipeline: the default HAACHAMA pipeline described in [2]; a version in which the contour length of the fish digital twin is constrained to remain constant throughout the simulation; a version in which horizontal body deformation, in addition to vertical deformation, is computed and included in the body–fluid interaction model; a version combining both the contour-length constraint and the horizontal deformation model. This dataset is intended to support the analysis of how well the digital twin reproduces the pressure signals measured experimentally, and to assess whether these refinements improve agreement with the physical data relative to the simpler cylinder model. In addition to the processed data used in the analysis, the dataset includes the simulation code used to generate the flow fields (pressure, velocity, vorticity, and Q-criterion). Owing to Zenodo size limitations, it was not possible to upload the complete set of full-resolution outputs; therefore, only the files necessary to support the analyses are provided. The Python scripts used for the analysis are also included in the dataset. Contact: gurvan.jodin@ens-rennes.fr [1] Corentin Porcon, Bastien Lagneaux, G. Jodin, Florence Razan.
