ProtectedSeas Navigator is a validated database of regulations and boundaries for global marine protected areas and managed marine zones, covering over 21,700 marine managed areas worldwide. In addition to providing geographic boundary information, this database systematically catalogs and encodes the specific management regulations of each area, particularly the level of restrictions on fishing activities. It aims to address the "paper park" issue plaguing marine protected areas, and supports the achievement of the United Nations' 30×30 conservation goal.
