With this ChIP-seq we are comparing chromatine accessibility in the japonica rice variety Nipponbare and in pine1 mutant, a gene that may control stem elongation through chromatine remodelling. To check for differences in chromatine state between WT and pine1 we precipitated the acetylated chtromatine using an antiboyd against H3 acetylated at lysines 9 and 14 (H3K9/14ac) Overall design: Nipponbare WT rice and pine1 knockout mutant plants were grown in long day conditions for 20 days. A total of 70 SAM were sampled for each genotype, in duplicate. Chromatine was then extracted from each sample and immunoprecipitated using H3K9/14ac Antibody.
