In this project, we studied the molecular diversity of acidic extracts from the organs of four extremophile plants native to southern Tunisia. These species, which have been little or not yet explored from a molecular perspective, constitute an original field of investigation. The extracts analysed mainly exhibit antimicrobial activities (antibacterial, antifungal and anti-yeast), which justifies the interest in their identification and molecular characterisation.
