The Bees - Practice Research: Tour Details 2014-15

This dataset represents the tour details for the installation between 2014 and 2015 and was prepared as part of a report to Arts Council England, which funded the original project. In addition to the dates and locations of the events at which the installation was presented, the dataset includes estimated audience numbers and artist days.Since these initial 35 dates in 2014 and 2015, <i>The Bees</i> has been performed a further 140 times in approximately 100 different locations across seven countries, reaching audiences of over 200,000 people. It is the most frequently presented show commissioned by Without Walls, the UK’s largest consortium of outdoor arts festivals, and has been commissioned on five occasions to create new hives in response to specific local contexts.
