Road Safety Camera Network - Trends in Fines Western Ring Road

Trends in fines for each of the seven highway camera systems within the State of Victoria since each highway camera system began operating.\r\n\r\nFines are recorded at the offence date.\r\nIncludes fines issued for speeding and unregistered vehicles.\r\nThe number of fines reported in quarters 1 and 2, 2011–12, were affected by Victoria Police Association work bans.\r\nTwo additional camera sites have been upgraded and re-activated in April 2012.\r\nRoad works and camera maintenance may influence the number of fines issued.\r\nThe number of fines issued is subject to variation over time as they may be withdrawn or reissued.
