Access APIHistorical Imagery 1951Current and historic imagery form an important part of the NSW Foundation\nSpatial Data Framework and provide a valuable resource which is widely accessed\nby government and the broader community on a daily basis. As the completeness\nof this data base continues, its market demand also increases across a broad\nrange of applications.\n\nSpatial\nServices aerial imagery was originally captured using a veriety of cameras\nincludeing the Wild RC-5, RC-10 and Leica RC-30 cameras with a variety of\nlenses with focal lengths of 88mm, 153mm and 304mm. Images were captured in\nmonochrome or colour during this period at a range of scales. Capture scales\nranged from 1:5 000 to 1:80 000. \n\nThe Historical Air Photo Enhancement program (HAPE) not only\nallows the capability to search, discover and use source imagery, but also\nprovides the delivery and viewing of enhanced historic rectified imagery\nmosaics. This new development means the community at large can now access and\nutilise spatially accurate historic imagery:\n\n\n\n1.   Through the Historical\nImagery Viewer\n\n\n\n2.   Directly in a wide range for GIS Mapping applications\nas a Web map Tile Service (WMTS).
