The ATATS dataset was co-developed by the University of California, Berkeley and the SETI Institute, aiming to study radio sources at 1.4 GHz via multi-epoch (12 visits) radio images and catalogs covering 690 square degrees. This dataset is designed to detect rare, extremely bright transient sources and validate the capability of the ATA in large-scale mosaic formation. The ATATS dataset contains 4408 sources, with a noise level of 3.94 mJy beam⁻¹, a dynamic range of 180, and a circular beam with a full width at half maximum (FWHM) of 150 arcseconds. Its application domains cover radio continuum: galaxies and surveys, and it is intended to address the variability and transience of radio sources.
