Digital Archive from an Archaeological Evaluation at Derwen Lane, Penrhyn Bay, Conwy, August 2025

This collection consists of images and site record data from an archaeological evaluation by trial trenching by Ecology Solutions. Work occurred on land at Derwen Lane, Penrhyn Bay, Conwy in August 2025. No finds or features of archaeological interest were encountered in the majority of the trenches, the exception being a linear feature in Trench 03 which is possibly the remains of a former water course or field boundary. Given the results of this evaluation and a previous geophysical survey, it is judged that the potential for the survival of features or finds of archaeological significance throughout the remainder of the Site is extremely low.
