Modeling Investigation of Atmospheric Moisture Transport over the North Pacific Ocean: Role of Pacific Decadal Oscillation (2)

Atmospheric moisture content over the North Pacific Ocean can fluctuate under the influence of the Pacific Decadal Oscillation (PDO). For a better understanding of the role which the PDO plays in the North Pacific water budgets and pathways, we conducted sensitivity experiments to examine how atmospheric moisture transport responds to sea surface temperature (SST) anomalies associated with the PDO phases transitions.北太平洋上空的大气水汽含量可受太平洋年代际振荡（Pacific Decadal Oscillation，PDO）的影响而发生波动。为深入理解该振荡在北太平洋水分收支与水汽输送路径中所扮演的角色，本研究开展了敏感性试验，以考察大气水汽输送对与PDO位相转换相关的海表温度（sea surface temperature，SST）异常的响应特征。
