This smallest booking unit in the real estate register is enclosed by a boundary line. According to VermKatG NRW, buildings are permanent, self-usable, overcovered construction facilities, which are proven because of their importance in the real estate register. They can be entered by humans and are suitable or intended to serve the protection of humans, animals, property or the production of assets. For all parcels, the property register shows their shape (geometry including determinant coordinates), location, usage, size, construction and other characteristics such as the location designation and the parcel identification mark. In addition to the geometric features of a building, descriptive properties such as building function, year of construction, construction method and information on the location are also maintained.
