The larval observations and modelled larval production areas of coastal fish species / VELMU

The data layers describe the larval observations (presence/absence) and modelled larval production areas in the Finnish coastal area. The observation data has been collected as fisheries surveys during years 2007-2014 conducted by Luke in the National VELMU programme. The larval production areas have been modelled with different species distribution modelling approaches. Please read the metadata descriptions (links found in included XLSX file) for more specific information and for references. The data layers are suitable for marine and coastal spatial planning.
