Transcriptomics of Saban Anole Lizards Naturally Infected with Plasmodium Species

RNA sequencing of Saban anole lizard blood. Blood was isolated from toe-clippings of lizards caught in the field (Saba island) for RNA extraction and sequencing. Raw read files are composed of host (Anolis sabanus) reads and Plasmodium parasites reads (Plasmodium floridense, Plasmodium azurophilum, and/or Plasmodium leucocytica). RNA sequencing was performed to construct the first transcriptomes of these three lizard-infective Plasmodium species.
