RAM Vacation Unemployment Benefits, 2010

RAM (Register of the Labour Market Statistics) is a journal system which contains reports from the unemployment insurance funds regarding pay-out of social insurance, early retirement allowance and occupational effort etc.. The purpose of RAM is to give a foundation for statistics, analysis etc. about the labour market and changes on the labour market. RAM is the foundation for Statistics Denmark’s labour market statistics and jobindsats.dk, a part of the National Labour Market Authority, and is used amongst other things to calculate the consequences of new legislation on the social insurance area. The legal foundation for the reporting to the RAM is evident from §100 (a) in The Act on active employment initiatives. Ten reports from the unemployment insurance funds makes up the data in RAM and is handed in individually to Statistics Denmark, these are: -Pay-out of social insurance (DP) -Pay-out of vacation unemployment benefit (FD) -Pay-out of transitional allowance (OY) -Emission of early retirement certificate (EB) -Transition to early retirement (EO) -Pay-out of early retirement allowance (EU) -Monthly pay-out of early retirement allowance (EM) -Exit from the early retirement scheme (EA) -Pay-out of tax-free premium (SP) -Occupational effort (BI)
