purpose: to use a transcriptomic approach (RNAseq) to compare control, HCC and IC macrophage gene expression. Overall design: cardiac macrophages (CD14+/CD64+) sorted by FACS from mice implanted with saline (cts) or isoproterenol pumps (30mg/kg/day) for 14 days (HCC) or 28 days (IC).
