The giant genome of lily provides insights into the hybridization of cultivated lilies

Liliales are important monocot plants with great significance worldwide. We construct reference genome assemblies for two Liliales species, Lilium sargentiae (lily) belonging to Liliaceae with bulbs and Gloriosa superba (flame lily) belonging to Colchicaceae with rhizomes.
