CIR Biotope Types 2009 (Aerial Image Interpretation) – Area-covering biotope and land use mapping in Brandenburg (btln)

Comprehensive collection of biotope types and land use data of the Land of Brandenburg 2009 on the basis of homogenised and updated CIR biotope data from 1991-1993 (based on CIR aerial images from 2009 and on the basis of current data from the ATKIS-DLM). The homogenisation/recording was carried out according to the rules of the Brandenburg Biotope mapping (BBK) and the methodology of the CIR aerial image interpretation within the project “Homogenisation of biotope type and land use data based on the ALK and the ATKIS DLM in Brandenburg”. This project was funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) under project number “MI 09-046 L/80140147”. Semantic basis is about 2,500 biotope classes (btln mapping units) created by the content revision and aggregation of the BBK biotope classes for a CIR aerial image interpretation. Attention: This data was obtained by aerial image interpretation. As part of the intervention regulation and various nature conservation planning tools, the information provided by the data source “Biotopes, Protected Biotopes and Habitat Types – Total Data Stock” must always be used and evaluated.
