Draft genome sequences of three endophytic Serratia liquefaciens strains isolated from vegetables, South Africa

Here, we present the safety analysis of three Serratia liquefaciens strains, considered as potential plant endophytes, isolated from vegetables. Strain M17KBT1B was isolated from tomatoes, while M17VKL4B and M17VKL4D were found in lettuce from farms in the North-West (32° 45’ 31.867’’ N, 97° 19’ 43.702 E) and Gauteng (26°16’14.733’’ S, 28°6’44.164 E) provinces, respectively. The genome annotations for each strain has been made available in genebank format while the predicted resistance and virulence genes can be found in the respective spreadsheets.
