VPRS 8911 Proceedings of Council Meetings (MCC 2/1)

The Proceedings consist of a printed version of the Council meeting minutes. Information included the date and time the meeting was held, brief accounts of reports submitted under the Orders of the Day, accounts paid, and motions put forward. Outcomes were indicated, for example that the motion was adopted (or otherwise), and if the accounts were passed for payment.From 1869 to May 1982, related papers or attachments were included in the bound volumes. The attachments consisted of reports, financial statements, figures for attendance at meetings by councillors, and correspondence presented at meetings.After 19 May 1982, the most complete sets of related papers were bound with the minutes of the Council meetings. The related papers bound with the Proceedings from that time on were not complete and/or were poor photocopies.
