Share of school students in Algeria 2020, by educational level

In the 2019/2020 school year, almost 50 percent of the students attending school in Algeria were in primary education. In total, the number of pupils in primary school amounted to around 4.7 million. Middle education accounted for the second-highest share of enrolled students (33 percent), followed by secondary school students (13 percent).
