This statistic shows the results of a survey of people in the United Kingdom (UK) and United States regarding issues facing the world in 2018. Of UK respondents, 57 percent thought that extremism and terrorism was a top three issue facing the word, compared with 50 percent of Americans. Poverty was the most frequent answer among US respondents, with 52 percent believing it to be one of the top three issues facing the world.
