These items provide all data of the results presented in the manuscript of the study “A hybrid modeling approach for improved simulation of thermal-hydrological dynamics in permafrost active layer on the Tibet Plateau”. The study presents a novel hybrid modeling approach by incorporating the SHAW model advantageous of detailed representations of heat and water transfer processes within the frozen ground, high-quality meteorological forcing data, and a robust lower boundary condition estimation method, in order to provide high-quality simulations of the hydro-thermal processes within the permafrost active layer on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The approach is validated at seven permafrost monitoring sites and presents higher accuracy in capturing the temperature and soil moisture content variations.
