Morphological data for 838 Australian Asteraceae text-mined from taxonomic descriptions

Morphological data for 838 Australian Asteraceae text-mined from taxonomic descriptions\nLineage: Descriptions were cropped from PDF documents of taxonomic literature, and text was read from the cropped images with Optical Character Recognition using Tesseract. Morphological data were extracted from the text using ChatGPT and manually cleaned using OpenRefine.从分类学描述文本中挖掘得到的838份澳大利亚菊科（Asteraceae）形态学数据。数据溯源：本次数据集的描述文本源自分类学文献的PDF文档并经裁剪，随后通过Tesseract光学字符识别工具从裁剪后的图像中提取文本；随后依托ChatGPT从提取的文本中抽取形态学数据，并通过OpenRefine完成人工数据清洗。
