The instruction of 3 June 2015 from the Minister of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy aims to draw up a mapping of rivers. The purpose of this mapping is to raise awareness of the parts of the water system which are to be considered as watercourses under the water policy, that is to say, the watercourses to which the regulation resulting from Articles L.214-1 to L.214-11 of the Environmental Code applies.
