资源简介:
The overall goal of this project is to investigate the present community of mosquitoes and their arboviral pathogens in identified sites in Makiling Forest Reserve (MFR) with data on land use change. Essentially this will serve to provide benchmarks for future studies on land use change and arboviral disease transmission in other areas where anthropogenic transformations are to occur. The work attempts to understand the circumstance set forth by immense ecological change on arboviral disease transmission. Metagenomic approaches through Vector-Enabled Virome Sequencing (VEVS) can be used to determine arbovirus diversity by direct sequencing of genetic material in environmental samples.
