Danish Pre-Referendum EC Study, 1972

This study is the first wave of a two-wave panel study concerning the EC referendum on 2 October, 1972 in which Denmark's entry into the Common market was decided. The study examines: party preference on the day of the data collection; attitude to the referendum; sources of information used to obtain information about the EC (meetings, etc.); the impact of arguments for and against the EC (the arguments of Marketeers and anti-Marketeers); the respondent's attitude to a number of statements concerning Denmark and the EC; and consequences of Denmark's entry into the Common Market for various interest groups
