Statbel – Population by place of residence, nationality, marital status, age and sex for Belgium and regions, 2021. The structure of the population comprises statistics on the population and the characteristics of that population. These are the number of inhabitants and the following characteristics: sex, age, residence, marital status, nationality and menage.This statistics are devoted to the resident population, as recorded in the National Register of Natural Persons (RNPP), on 1 January of the relevant reference period. The Belgian population includes Belgians and non-Belgians admitted or authorised to establish themselves or stay in the territory but does not include non-Belgians staying in the territory for less than three months, asylum seekers and non-Belgians in an irregular situation.
