资源简介:
Analysis of the origin and evolution of LTR retrotransposons, which along with non-LTR-retrotransposons contribute to the dynamics of mammalian genomes. The high activity of several retrotransposon families, including both those common in rodents and those discovered in this study, in the rodent genus Peromyscus may be a major force in generating numerous species and subspecies.
