Ethical Statement and Data Description

The data used in this study originate from a structured research database developed by the research team. The database contains respondents’ questionnaire answers regarding perceived privacy risk, privacy fatigue, perceived convenience, trust, and information disclosure intention. All entries were recorded in an anonymized manner and do not include any personally identifiable information (PII). Participation was entirely voluntary, and informed consent was obtained prior to completing the questionnaire, clearly informing participants of the data usage, research purpose, and privacy protection measures.

To ensure academic ethics and data security, this study strictly follows the Declaration of Helsinki and the relevant requirements of the American Psychological Association (APA) Ethics Code. Data collection, storage, and analysis were all conducted in accordance with ethical research standards, including anonymization, use solely for academic research, no sharing of original traceable data, and no commercial use. In addition, necessary data cleaning and consistency checks were performed during database construction. All results are presented at the aggregate level and do not involve any sensitive or individually traceable information.
