In 2018, 123,625 applications were registered with OFPRA, including 114 226 applications (including accompanying minors) and 9,399 reviews (including 293 reopenings). 93 598 decisions, excluding accompanying minors, were taken, an increase of 4.8 % compared to 2017. OFPRA took 24,613 agreement decisions compared to 23,958 in 2017. In 2018, the CNDA issued 47,314 decisions, a 1.0 % decrease in the number of decisions compared to 2017. In total, the number of decisions granting protection status (refugee and subsidiary protection, excluding accompanying minors) taken by OFPRA and CNDA stood at 33 330 in 2018, up 4.3 % from the total positive decisions of 2017.
