VPRS 15140 Agenda and Committee Papers

This series comprises notice papers outlining matters to be considered at meetings of various council committees. The records may include letters notifying councillors about meetings, agenda, officers' reports, correspondence and other papers relevant to agenda items.The folders may contain records of one committee only or a number of committees. During certain periods, the Committee of the Whole Council became responsible for a range of matters that, at other times, were distributed among separate committees.The records are arranged chronologically according to date of meeting. The most recent papers can usually be found at the top of each folder.During processing of the records for transfer to the Public Record Office Victoria, the papers were removed from their original folders and filed in acid free folders supplied by the PROV.
