Copy Number variants in Mallotus villosus

Taking advantage of recent developments allowing CNV analysis from RAD-seq data (10.1111/mec.15565), we investigated how variation in fitness-related traits, local environmental conditions and demographic history are associated with CNVs, and how subsequent copy number variation drives population genetic structure in a marine fish, the capelin (Mallotus villosus). We collected 1536 DNA samples from 35 sampling sites in the north Atlantic Ocean and identified 6620 putative CNVs. Raw sequencing data for GBS libraries have been published in a previous study (Cayuela et al. 2020, 10.1111/mec.15499) and are available under accession no. PRJNA631144. Here, we provide the files of normalized read depth for the 6620 putative CNVs and environmental data used in our CNV analyses.
本研究借助近期可从限制性位点相关DNA测序(RAD-seq)数据中开展拷贝数变异(Copy Number Variation, CNV)分析的技术进展(DOI: 10.1111/mec.15565),针对海洋鱼类毛鳞鱼(Mallotus villosus),探究了与适合度相关的性状变异、局域环境条件以及种群历史与CNV之间的关联,并解析了后续拷贝数变异如何驱动种群遗传结构的形成。本研究于北大西洋35个采样点共采集1536份DNA样本,共鉴定得到6620个候选CNV。本研究中基因分型测序(Genotyping-by-Sequencing, GBS)文库的原始测序数据已在先前研究(Cayuela等,2020,DOI: 10.1111/mec.15499)中发表,可通过登录号PRJNA631144获取。本数据集随附用于这6620个候选CNV分析的标准化读长深度文件,以及本研究CNV分析所用的环境数据文件。
