Identification of Lysine-lactylated substrates in gastric cancer cells

We have conducted an LC-MS/MS analysis in gastric cancer AGS cells and identified 2375 lysine-lactylated sites on 1014 proteins. Interestingly, these proteins were significantly enriched in spliceosome in KEGG pathway analysis. However, whether lactate could affect RNA splicing was not known. Thus, we employed an RNA-seq analysis and found that lactate did change RNA splicing events in AGS cells.
