Salmonella serotype paratyphi A is one of the common food-borne enteric pathogens which is extremely easy to cause food poisoning in human. Due to the influence of the medium and the heat adaptation of the Salmonella, Salmonella serotype paratyphi A, which still exists in the food, is a threat to food safety. It is needed to study the role of heat stress-relevant genes responsible for the survival mechanism of Salmonella serotype paratyphi A in different medium and virulence gene expression conditions are understood for human health, whole transcriptome analysis of Salmonella serotype paratyphi A was performed by Illumina Hi Seq 4000 sequencing technology. The gene expression profile of Salmonella serotype paratyphi A was analyzed after the exposure of the bacterium in two different medium (media pure lean of sausage and media lean meat 1 : 1 of sausage) to high temperature treatment (55°C for 30 min), to ambient temperature as control. This brief survey of the transcripts obtained in response to high temperature shock underline the survival strategy of a bacterium and the conditions of virulence gene expression in different medium under high temperature parameters that is further helpful to generate vast genetic information associated with the bacteria.
