鵝鑾鼻野百合之族群分布變遷

根據先前報告及1994 年和2005 年的兩次田野調查，顯示台灣特有種鵝鑾鼻野百合族群僅限分布於墾丁東部沿岸。從1984 年至2005 年間，鵝鑾鼻野百合從貓鼻頭、社頂、佳樂水、九棚村及聯勤活動中心地區消失，且族群面積快速縮小。人工林建造、牧草栽植、人為踐踏不利於鵝鑾鼻野百合的生存，另一方面，適度的干擾(如放牧)或許反而有利鵝鑾鼻野百合的生存，但有待驗證。根據IUCN (2001)標準，應將鵝鑾鼻野百合列為瀕危物種，並儘速採取有效保育策略確保免於滅絕之威脅，是一項急迫性的工作。Based on prior reports and two field surveys conducted in 1994 and 2005, the populations of the Taiwan endemic Eluanbi wild lily are restricted to the eastern coastal regions of Kenting. Between 1984 and 2005, this species has disappeared from Maopitou, Sheding, Chialeshui, Jiupeng Village, and the Joint Logistics Activity Center area, with its habitat area shrinking rapidly. Afforestation, forage cultivation, and human trampling are detrimental to the survival of Eluanbi wild lily. Conversely, moderate disturbances such as grazing may actually benefit its survival, though this remains to be verified. According to the IUCN (2001) Red List Criteria, Eluanbi wild lily should be classified as an Endangered species, and it is an urgent task to promptly adopt effective conservation strategies to protect it from the threat of extinction.
