Land use plan of the municipality of Bremen:
According to the Building Code (BauGB), the land use plan is the preparatory and thus the overall land management plan of a municipality. The procedure for drawing up the land use plan is regulated in the Building Code (BauGB). The land use plan represents the current and planned land use, according to the foreseeable needs of the municipality, for the entire municipal area in the broad lines. The representations of the land use plan form the basis for the detailed determinations of the use of the land, as the development plans (binding land planning) to be drawn up for sub-areas of the municipality are to be developed from the land use plan. The land use plan is binding only for the municipality and the public planning authorities.
